Five hundred years ago, William Tyndale dreamed of a day when even a simple farm boy could read, understand, and know the Word of God. Tyndale gave his life to that mission—and ultimately, he gave his life for it. Today, the day he dreamed about is ours. God’s Word is more accessible than he could possibly have imagined. The question is: What will we do with what we’ve been given?
Before we ever Seek Him or Speak Him, God is already seeking us and speaking to us. We get to step into what He has already begun, not just in our own lives, but in our families.
The house is quieter now, and I find myself reflecting on nearly three decades of parenting. I made plenty of mistakes along the way, but I can confidently say these are some choices I absolutely don’t regret.
So profound and significant were God’s presents to me throughout my spiritual Jubilee that I feel like He has been celebrating this fifty year milestone with me.
