“Do you want to get up and read God’s Holy Word with me?” I asked my two sleepyheads as they snuggled ‘neath their cozy covers.
“I don’t have time,” whispered one little voice, as she was already thinking about all the animals she needed to take care of before leaving for church. “You always have time,” my other little one responded.
Out of the mouths of babes, truth comes. We don’t have time; we have all the time we need. The two sides of what I, myself, wrestle with.
God invites us all into deeper relationship with Him this year. He bids us to read His Word, memorize Scripture, journal our meditations, talk to Him more often.
He calls us to walk closer with Him, but sometimes we don’t answer His call. Why? Because we just don’t have time.
And yet, we always have time. The question is, what are we going to do with the time we have?
Mommas, I pray that, today, we all accept God’s invitation to spend meaningful time with Him.
